Software Engineer – Drive Innovation in Machine Construction
As a Software Engineer Machine Construction you are responsible for the operating software of new equipment projects. You are also responsible for improving, expanding and adapting existing software.
Based in the Netherlands, Bakon designs innovative machines and equipment for the bakery and food industry, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and sustainability. As part of Coperion, a global leader in processing systems and equipment,Bakon contributes to delivering advanced solutions for the food, health, and nutrition industries worldwide.
You are part of a project team that works in different phases: from design to implementation. Together with your colleagues from various disciplines, you discuss the composition of descriptions and technical specifications. You are also part of an innovation team for product development such as Robotics.
Bakon offers you a varied position as a Software Engineer in which analysis, software development, implementation and problem-solving come together.
Role, skills & competences
Knowledge and experience
- Completed HBO education in Industrial Automation or similar.
- A few years of experience in a similar position is an advantage.
- You have experience with Siemens S7 PLCs, Lenze, Codesys programming language.
- You are proficient in Dutch and English, German is an advantage.
Skills
- As a Software Engineer, you will design PLC applications and user manuals.
- Enter and test applications in a virtual environment.
- Enter and test on location at Bakon.
- Participate in standardization projects.
- Provide (telephone) support in the event of malfunctions to the customer; You have perseverance and are flexible.
- You will demonstrate an analytical, innovative and results-oriented attitude.
