Brownie

Nothing better than a brownie (or a blondie)

It’s simply a matter of taste whether you like brownies to have a cakey texture of a more fudgy one. Many people like brownies that have a certain lift and lightness, but as many people give preference to the dark, more fudgy ones. And of course, some prefer blondies!

The basis of a brownie is a firm batter, to which quite a few ingredients can be added, such as nuts, raisins, choco drops or chunks. Brownies are generally produced in rectangular shapes, with a choice of (paper) baking trays or on baking trays with rims. After baking, the brownies can be decorated and cut into larger or smaller (one-bite) portions. Brownies will last for a couple of days, but they are also very suitable for freezing to extend the shelf life.
